Inyokern Airport.  Located in Inyokern about 12 miles west of Ridgecrest on Monache Road, off State Highway 178.  Provides commercial passenger service daily to and from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), plus air cargo service by Federal Express and UPS.  Car rental service available; aviation gasoline and jet fuel obtainable by self-service fuel truck.  Also available: aircraft rentals, maintenance, private and industrial hangers, office and ground leases, areas of the airport set aside specifically for film production use.  Telephone: (760) 377-5844.
